BUYER BEWARE!

Horrible service. Store #60926 at Opry Mills Mall, Nashville did not put all of the items in my shopping bag. Reported to corp office who tried to contact store several times with no answer. Also noticed the large number of bad reviews on this company. Much easier contesting charge on credit card. BUYER BEWARE!

Great Customer Service..Barbara

Got items that had a rip but the manager Barbara Glenn took care of my issues. Very professional and a great asset to the company. Made sure I got the replacement boxes quickly and did it with great compassion. I appreciate everything she did for my sons birthday...A great asset to the company...5 star service

Online ordering is the scariest thing this company has

Just like everyone else here same complaint placed an order for 2 items got 1 the other was not present, called got a horrid lady that sounded like she would rather do anything but help you…..finally was told it’s on back order and you may or may not get it, this was for a damn gift and when ordered there was plenty in stock, how does this happen……disappointing service from this company I may just return and do a chargeback with bank and buy elsewhere like Amazon or eBay who is at least reliable…….I’m sure I’ll get some canned response from them that has no real meaning to help me.

I've given this place good reviews at…

I've given this place good reviews at their stores in the past, but this complaint is about paying for their expedited shipping.. Because it does not exist.. Your package doesn't get handled any faster, and it actually arrives slower..

I ordered 4 times this year already, 3 times I took the SHIP50 option and received in normal time . I really need an item to get here fast because it was a gift, so I paid 48 dollars for expedited, and a week later I'm still sitting here waiting.. I was promised the 23rd, it's now saying it won't be here until maybe the 25th... Seems like a small gripe, but I essentially wasted 50 bucks for a promise they couldn't keep.

I called their customer service and I could barely hear my customer service rep because of all the background noise, and said they weren't willing to offset some of those ridiculous shipping costs..

Do yourselves a giant favor and use the ship50.. You'll actually get it on time... I'm done with ordering from them and with none of their stores being open yet, I guess they lost for now

Great experience

Great experience. Purchased a Beetlejuice animatronic that was missing parts. The Customer Service team were quick to reply and resolve the missing parts issue. On top of that, refunded me the original purchase prize and were sympathetic to my issue. This was even after Halloween. They have really great customer service and fun products. Even had a great after Halloween experience with purchasing the display and help Tearing down and loading into my vehicle.

Applying for store manager position

Applied for this position on June 28th did not get call for interview till last week had interview scheduled for Thursday 7/28 how convenient 1 month to the day we'll on Wednesday 7/27 I get a call from Chad can we move your interview too the 1st of august and oh by the way we filled the position you applied for he says well I can put you in Wexford I say that's okay a little to far he says well I can make you an assistant manager at the mills and that some changes are coming and that the manager at the mills may be going to Wexford which then I could move into the manager position at the mills I asked the question of how did I apply for this job a month ago just get a call a week ago and the day before my interview I get a call that position is filled get ready for this response you know we are owned by Spencer's and we have to take anyone from Spencer's first no matter ok I get this to a point but I can smell bull s$&@ a mile away been in management for 28 years who in there right mind for any company is going to send employees from there 365 day a year stores to a 2 to 3 month pop up it's hard enough to get ppl to work these days let alone take from an existing business I was a store manager for Christmas tree shops last year and we kept some of the existing managers and employees from spirit they were by far the worst employees you could imagine we had 4 from spirit by our 2nd week I had terminated 3 of them as they spent more time hiding and goofing off only reason I even applied for this job was I had the pleasure of meeting and working with Jett Croisant one of spirits directors who was an amazing gentleman well other than Jett pretty much everything I have heard about spirit is true was willing to give it a try but spirit Halloween is a big disappointment in there actions.

HORRIBLE customer service

HORRIBLE customer service. Order 2 items. Did not receive items. Called and was told to wait another week. Waited and called again. And again. And again. Excuse after excuse. Finally talked to a "supervisor" that said she would process the refund of $70.27. Got an email that my refund that $4.30 was processing. Called back. Was told they have to refund the TAX first, which can take 14 days. THEN they will process the rest, another 14-21 days. It's been 5 weeks already. After reading reviews I filed a chargeback with my bank. Never again will I give this company my money to hold for months

THIEVES

I ordered a child costume in October 2021, they sent me an adult size costume. I contacted Spirit and they said return it for a refund. I immediately returned the costume unopened and they received it. I keep getting ridiculous answers like " I will pass this on to my supervisor" after I was already told my refund was processing. It does not tske months to process a simple return Still no refund. Nothing but a bunch of thieves and I will make sure to tell everyone I possibly can that my money was stolen! THIEVES!

Order got lost in transit twice

Placed an online order for a shirt for a gift on November 11th, waited until December 7th to call and ask where my order was. They told me the package got lost in transit and sent out another one and assured me it would arrive before Christmas. Called again on December 20th asking where my order was and they told me it got lost again and they sent me a refund. Very unimpressed. I really wanted that shirt. Never ordering from Spirit Halloween again.

How easy is it to get a hold of customer service at SpiritHalloween?

A:

Not easy at all! When i did get someone they didnt help me they say go online. Where i keep getting sites that disappear or i cannot find refunds page. Then i type and it dissappears. Not one person have I talked to - a number of people at Spirit customer services - i still have ni refund!
